On Saturday 26 October, we attended Linux Day Napoli 2024, the annual event dedicated to the GNU/Linux world, open source and free software and hardware. Organised by the NaLUG (Napoli Linux User Group) under the patronage of the City of Naples and DIETI - Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology of the Federico II University -, the day brought together enthusiasts, professionals and the curious in the sector, interested in learning about the novelties and potential of free software and open-source technological solutions.
The event, of which Internet & Idee was an official sponsor, offered a rich program of workshops, seminars and interactive discussions. During the sessions, our experienced systems engineers and Cyber Security specialists presented to the audience some of the most innovative techniques in containerization and the best security practices in this field, arousing great interest among the participants.
Linux Day Napoli 2024 proved to be an opportunity for growth and discussion, highlighting the crucial role of open source as a driver of innovation in the technology ecosystem.
